This isn't where I originally found the info about what is commonly referred to as the "CyberCorp's Scholarship", but check out:
http://www.defenselink.mil/nii/iasp/schoolsCAEList.htm

Why does everyone love CyberCorp so much? .. From their FAQ:
"The scholarship will provide the full cost of tuition, books, fees, lab expenses, supplies and equipment incurred by students selected for the program. Students will also be provided a stipend to cover room and board expenses: undergraduates will receive a stipend of $10,000 per academic year, and graduate students will receive a stipend of $15,000 per academic year."

I am really wanting to pursue a career in forenics(comp), but I am wondering if that pursuit is futile for the point of educational standing I am in now.

I have an AAS in Local Area Networking, a BS in Software Eng Tech with a concentration in WAN and LAN, and about to start my graduate research. I am a CNA(novell), CCNA(Cisco), and finsihing up my CCNP(Cisco).

I was gonna pursue a MS in CJ Computer Forensics, however, that curriculum did not pass and instead my university adopted a Casino track (go figure). Moving on, I am back to SoftEngTech and my graduate research degree is pretty much open ended at the university in that I develop my own curriculum track. I would like to do all my research on Computer Forensics, but wonder if it will be futile when it comes to job searches. Is there anything I can do to brighten my future career options? I am willing to do outside/online curriculum if need be.

Thx guys

The best thing you can do is graduate from a reputable school, and get published. Also network like crazy. Attend RSA, SANS, what ever. If you can sign up with the US Government program that in exchange for a masters degree. You give them 2 years after graduation.

Cheers,
